Guide to Having Two Dresses For Your Wedding

I’ve worked over 300 weddings as a venue coordinator, so I’ve seen a lot of wedding gowns… and most of them are really heavy.  You may not understand that having two dresses is becoming the trend.

There’s nothing I want more than for you to have the dress of your dreams! But if that dress weighs between 15-40lb, you’re not going to want to have it on all day long.

Which is what I am suggesting for your wedding. Have two dresses!

One that is for the first 4 hours of your day, covering photos with your family, the ceremony, and photos afterwards….

And the second one that is for the last 5 to 6 hours of your day. Something that is really easy to sit in, and easy to dance in!

This trend is already happening with the cultural weddings…the brides and grooms usually have two outfits. One that is traditional, and the other that is still festive but less formal, so that they can easily move throughout the evening.

Of course I’ll be with you by your side, helping you with anything that you need… This is just a small piece of advice from a planner that has been there, and done that… And wants only the best for your wedding day experience!Inspired by love and a life well-lived!
